Team Extreme's Mission:
Extreme living for the “average Joe” may sound impossible but this is the very mission of Running With Purpose's outreach efforts and "TEAM EXTREME".
TEAM EXTREME is a national effort to involve Christian Runners to live out their faith in the running community and in life. Team Extreme's goal is to encourage and equip Christians to live a life wide open and there by impacting and influencing our communities for Christ. To many people, believer and unbeliever alike, the words extreme and Christian do not belong in the same sentence. A closer look at the like of Jesus however, would reveal a different story. John 10:10 reveals that Jesus came not just to give life but not just life but life more abundantly. Jesus was extreme at all that He did. In the way He lived, and the way He labored, and in the way He loved! TEAM EXTREME wants to encourage Christians to live the same way. Using running as a means of living out our desire for Christ, TEAM EXTREME’S goal of impacting and influencing people for Christ can be accomplished in several ways.
